Bakugan Battle Brawlers (ç丸ããã«ããã¼ã©ã¼ãºBakugan Batoru BurÅrÄzu) is a 2007 Japanese action adventure[1]anime television series based on the a strategic game called Bakugan developed by Sega Toys and Spin Master. The series was produced by TMS Entertainment and Japan Vistec under the direction of Mitsuo Hashimoto. The story centers on the lives of creatures called Bakugan and the battle brawlers who possess them.
The series first premiered in Japan on TV Tokyo on April 5, 2007, and was rebroadcast six days later on BS Japan. Nelvana Enterprises produced an English version which aired on the Canadian television network Teletoon in July 2007. Cartoon Network, an American television station also premiered the series on February 24, 2008. The series was followed by a sequel, Bakugan Battle Brawlers: New Vestroia, in 2009.
Four pieces of theme music are used for the series; two opening themes by Psychic Lover and two closing themes. The opening theme for the first thirty episodes is 'Number One Battle Brawlers' (ãã³ãã¼ã¯ã³Â·ããã«ããã¼ã©ã¼ãºNanbÄ Wan Batoru BurÅrÄzu); and Thirteen DVD compilations of four episodes each were released by Sega in Japan. The first compilation was released on July 25, 2007[2] with the thirteenth compilation released on July 25, 2008.[3] In North America, eight DVD compilations were released by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Volumes 1 and 6 contained 5 episodes each, volumes 2 through 5 each had 4 episodes, and the seventh and eighth volumes, titled Chapter 1 and 2, each had 13 episodes. The first compilation was released on August 26, 2008[4] with the eighth compilation released on July 6, 2010.[5]

Bakugan: Battle Planet (ç丸ããã«ãã©ãããBakugan Batoru Puranetto) is a Canadian-Japanese-American action adventure anime television series that acts as a reboot of the 2007â2012 anime show Bakugan Battle Brawlers. The series was produced by TMS Entertainment, Nelvana Enterprises, Man of Action Studios and Spin Master Entertainment under the direction of Kazuya Ichikawa. The story centers on the lives of creatures called Bakugan and the battle brawlers who possess them.
The series first premiered in the United States on Cartoon Network on December 23, 2018, with a number of episodes made available through video-on-demand platforms prior to first broadcast.[1] In Canada, the show debuted on Teletoon on December 31, 2018 and was later rebroadcast on YTV starting January 11, 2019.[2][3]Bakugan: Battle Planet began airing in Japan on TV Tokyo and other TX Network stations starting April 1, 2019.[4]

Bakugan: Small Brawl Stories (Japanese: ç丸ããã«ãã©ããããã·ã§ã¼ãã¢ãã¡Hepburn: Bakugan Batoru Puranetto ShÅto Anime, lit. 'Bakugan Battle Planet Short Anime'), originally known as Bakugan: Beyond the Brawl, is a series of animated web-shorts that feature the characters from the show interacting in a more comedic manner. It is streamed on YouTube through a variety of official sources. In English, the series is made available through the Bakugan, Cartoon Network and Teletoon channels, as well as Prime Video. Similarly, in Japan, the series is streamed on the Japanese-language Bakugan channel, as well as CoroCoro Comic's.
A compilation of the shorts were aired on TV Tokyo and other TX Network stations on July 1, 2019 as an 'extra' episode of the Battle Planet television series.[78]
